A Throwback to Where It All Began: Elk Grove Family Photography

Looking back through my archives always fills me with so much joy, and this throwback session is extra special to my heart. This was the very first time I photographed this incredible family, and I had no idea then that we were starting such an amazing journey together.

Fast forward to today, and I've now had the absolute pleasure of photographing them seven times over the past few years! Talk about an honor. Watching their kids grow, capturing new milestones, and being trusted to document their family's story year after year is truly one of the best parts of what I do as an Elk Grove family photographer.

The kids know me, the parents trust me, and we can just focus on capturing genuine moments without any of that first-session awkwardness.

This gorgeous fall session featured their coordinated red and black outfits that looked stunning against those autumn leaves. The girls' matching red dresses with those adorable polka dot bows? Perfection. And can we talk about how cute their little guy looked in his buffalo plaid?
