Elk Grove Senior & Graduate Photographer
This chapter deserves more than a school photo.
Senior portrait experiences for high school seniors and college graduates in Elk Grove and the Sacramento area.
This is your time!
You've spent years working toward this moment. The late nights, the practices, the performances, the achievements that got you here. Your senior portraits should reflect all of it, not just what you look like standing in front of a backdrop.
My senior experiences are built around you. Your style, your locations, your story. Whether you want golden hour in an open field, an urban backdrop downtown, the beach, your school's home field, or somewhere that means something specifically to you, we'll make it happen.
Want to bring your cap and gown, your instrument, your jersey, your medals, or the trophy you worked four years to earn? Bring all of it. That's exactly the point.
The Experiences
Half Session - $275
30 minutes · 8 images
A focused, beautiful session perfect for seniors who want stunning portraits without a big production. We'll find your best light, get you comfortable, and walk away with images you'll love.
Full Session - $375
45 minutes · 12 images
More time, more variety, more images to choose from. A Full Session gives us room to explore your location, try different looks, and capture a full range of expressions and moments that feel genuinely like you.
The Graduate Experience - $525
60-90 minutes · 20 images · Up to 3 outfits
This is the one built for seniors who want to capture it all!
The Graduate Experience gives you the time and space to tell your whole story. Bring up to 3 outfits, including your cap and gown. Bring your letterman jacket, your sports gear, your instrument, your awards, your medals, your trophies. Bring the things that represent everything you've worked for before you head into your next adventure.
Note: Adding pieces like a letterman jacket, props, or accessories does not count toward your 3 outfit changes.

Your location. Your vision.
One of the things seniors love most about working with me is that we go where you want to go. There's no default backdrop, no generic setting. We find the location that feels like you.
Some favorites: local parks and open fields around Elk Grove, urban settings in Sacramento, the California coast, school campuses, sports fields, performing arts venues, and anywhere else that holds meaning.
Not sure where to start? Check out the Locations page for inspiration.
You can always let me know what vibe you’re going for, or share an inspirational photo and I’ll help find the place to make it happen.
What should I wear?
Your outfits should feel like you on your best day, not like what you think you're "supposed" to wear for photos. Here's what photographs well:
Do: solid colors and simple patterns, outfits you feel confident in, layers and accessories, pieces that reflect your personality
Avoid: busy prints, large logos, anything that doesn't make you feel like yourself
A few extra tips:
Steam or iron your cap and gown beforehand. Wrinkles show more than you'd expect.
Bring options. Even if you're only doing one outfit change, having a backup never hurts.
Every booked client receives a full session prep guide with detailed wardrobe and planning advice before their session.

Common Questions
-
As early as possible - especially if you're planning a summer or fall session, which is peak season. I'd recommend booking 2–3 months in advance to secure your preferred date and location.
-
Yes! A hype person makes a huge difference. Just keep the group small so it doesn't become a distraction. Friends are there to cheer you on, not to be in the photos (unless you want a few fun shots together, which we can absolutely do).
-
Of course. Many parents want to be there for this milestone and I love having them. I just ask that we let the senior lead so the session stays focused on them.
-
A full outfit change means a different complete look. Adding or removing a letterman jacket, changing shoes, adding a hat, or swapping accessories does not count as an outfit change. Cap and gown counts as one of your 3 outfits in the Graduate Experience.
-
For the Graduate Experience, yes, as long as the locations are close enough to travel between within your session time. We'll plan this out during your pre-session consultation. For Half and Full Sessions, only one location is allowed to help us make the most of your time.
-
You'll receive a private online proof gallery where you select your final images. Once you've made your selections, your edited gallery is delivered with full print release so you can use your images anywhere - announcements, social media, framing, etc.
